Gravid Essential Weighted Blanket

This is my second Gravid weighted blanket. My stepson claimed my first one, it's helped him with his sleep. I'm loving this one more than my first! The size is better and I prefer the cover on this one. I highly recommend anything Gravid, the quality is second to none. Even my cat loves lying on it.❤️

I love this new blanket especially for the price! I already had purchased the Gravid blanket and the Breeze sheets. They help me sleep so much better. This new one I wanted to try to compare quality for the lower price and also because you can have both the cool and warm plushy sides at once. No need to switch the whole cover, just flip it over and voilà! The cool/warm cover is every perimenopause women’s best cuddle companion to sleep! Thanks

It was a gift for stepson and he loves it! Says it super soft

I purchased this for my husband (I actually got it off of marketplace) he loves it but it is too small for him being 6’3” with broad shoulders I totally get that it needs to be sized for an individual person but not all adults are made equal. Making a “tall size” (just two or three extra inches on the width and height) would assist in better sleep for those taller than 6’

Purchased a single size as a Christmas gift for my husband. He had used one before and missed it. He likes the blanket, in that it’s soft and cozy. But, he can’t move or roll over in bed, and has been waking up with lower back pain since using it, likely from being weighed down in the same position all night. Perhaps 15 lbs is too heavy in a single sized blanket?

I bought the blanket for my daughter. She really likes it. It is too early to give an honest review because she only used it a couple of times. But it looks like good quality and the cover is really soft.

It's a nice cover, but I do worry that it will wear out easily since it isn't super thick. So far it's very soft and comfy though. Haven't used the cooling side since it's not hot out right now.

I got this for my husband, who would invariably only sleep for a few hours at a time and then get up to read for another hour or more, then come back to bed. On the first night with the blanket he slept for six hours straight. He absolutely loves the feel of the weight of it. Last night he slept eight hours straight. I can say that getting this weighted blanket is a resounding success, and am so happy to have found such a quality product that is Canadian made.

Very warm and stays in place

I really like my blanket as it is so cozy and warm. It is very comfortable and the 20 lbs is certainly is not too heavy. It is much better without the cover tho. I do enjoy having that extra weight on me and sleeping better. I would recommend buying it.

Fast shipping.. Christmas present

It is a little heavier than I was expecting, but so far it seems to be okay. Still trying to find a comfortable sleeping position, hoping it happens soon. It has only been a couple of weeks.

The weighted blanket is a great concept but it is too hot & heavy for my personal taste. I keep trying it, hoping it will help me with my sleep.

The slippers are nice soft and cozy.

I wish there was a choice of weight between a childs size and 15 lbs. I find the blanket a little heavy. After a week I had a back ache. I am taking a break and will try again.

Our daughter loves her weighted blanket! She askes for it constantly when watching tv. The only point that we like less is the fact that the blanket moves and bunches under the cover (no tethering). Else than that, this is a win!

I ordered this blanket on a Saturday morning because I saw a notification saying that the item would ship out the same day if I ordered it before noon. I didn't see any email all day Saturday or Sunday for it being shipped. By Monday, I was getting worried that what if I got scammed!? I started to read reviews on your site and things were beginning to settle in. I agree with some reviews that if you cannot keep your promise, do not publicize it. I received a notification by early Monday evening that the item has shipped. Again, according to other reviews, I was worried what if I do not receive it over the next few days, and it may be weeks or months. Anyhow, I received another email on the following Wednesday that the delivery is due by the end of the day. By 5:30pm or so that evening, I started to get worried and contacted support via chat. Just as I was in the process of chatting with a bot, I heard a big thump in front of my front door. Very quickly I got excited that the delivery has arrived! Sure enough, the blanket came. I put the cover on using the fabric ties. While going through the ties all around, I was realizing that the ties will not hold strong for too long. PLEASE MAKE THIS BLANKET WITH A ZIPPER ALL AROUND TO KEEP IT SECURE UNTIL IT IS TIME TO UN-COVER FOR WASHING. For the first couple of weeks, as per the reviews from others on various social media, I thought of using it for an hour or so here and there while watching the TV to get used to it. Even then, I noticed getting blunt headaches. After that, I started to use the blanket during the night. No more headaches or any body aches or pain! I have a FitBit and noticed that when I slept, I slept deeper. Hence, the quality of my sleep improved. This means, even when if I slept for a shorter time than usual, I was getting quality sleep - which is important for restoration. As for the ties, a few became un-done within a few days and I had to unzip and re-tie them. I am going through this routine every so often. It is getting a little frustrating. I agree with one reviewer: make it a fully zipped cover. I rather pay a little more to get some peace of mind.

This blanket is beautiful. Excellent quality, and I love the cover! I was used to a 15lb blanket so this one is a bit heavier than I’m used to. If I ever purchase another one I’d go back to the 15lb, but that’s just personal preference.

Great blanket for autism!

As someone who's a very restless sleeper, the weighted blanket has helped me greatly in having deeper and more fulfilling sleeps. I would recommend this to anyone who is a restless sleeper.

Love it! It actually breathes really well and I do not feel too hot. I notice a difference, it reduces the anxiety I had from waking up too early. At first it feels really heavy but once you get use to it a few nights, its perfect.

Love the blanket and the nice soft covers. The weight is perfect for me at 15lbs ( I am 145lbs). So cozy to use during the day too if I’m feeling at all stressed.

My 52 y/o husband has sleep issues… we have tried white noise sound machines, diffusing lavender and eucalyptus combo at night and now this blanket. The blanket is helping. I know this because I overheard him talking to a male friend about it. We have a queen size bed, he uses it on his side and I use a different blanket. It works out fine. Now I am ready to try the kids one on my son with ADHD/depression/anxiety … fingers cross it works on him as well.

It was a gift for my wife and she loves it.

I’ve been using the 20lb blanket for about 3 weeks now. I noticed a difference my first night with it. I fall asleep SO much faster, and sleep way more consistently through the night. Deeper sleep too. Sleep has always been difficult for me (adhd, SPD) and this is a game changer! Stops the restless legs completely. My biggest concern was overheating and happy so say it hasn’t happened yet. Worth taking a shot on if you’ve been looking for help with sleep!

I love my blanket! I keep it in the living room as my husband likes the air conditioner on high & I am always freezing! This wraps around my legs & stays in place. My only con is ...it is 15lbs as advertised & takes a little muscle to move it around! The insides (for want of the correct word!lol) stay stable, no bunching...just move as you move it. Thank you to the lady that did the reviews of weighted blankets. This was the best bang for the money & I feel her review was accurate!

I bought this for my boyfriend's birthday. He is 6'1, and most of the blankets do not reach his whole body. This blanket (20lb) was perfect for him. It covered his whole body. He loves the weight, and the removable cover is excellent for being able to keep it sanitary. I-personally-love how to put the cover on as there are little knotches that one just needs to do around the inside of the cover and attached the blanket to avoid it moving as well as the zipper is not at the bottom but to the side. Overall, this was probably his favourite present which makes it a 10/10!

I have tried so many neck support pillows that I lost count. As a side sleeper, the thicker side is the perfect height, with the perfect amount of support and comfortable squishiness. This is a stellar pillow.

I bought this for my 10 year old son and we Absolutely love this blanket and cover. I have had many different weighted blanket and paid so much more for them and this one is by far my favourite. So soft! Easy zip up cover, and comfortable for much cheaper than other weighted blankets out there. I’ll be ordering 2 more this week. Definitely spent the extra few dollars on the cover, it is a wonderful fabric and totally worth it.

I’ve used my 15lbs one for 3 years now and I love it. I’ve had family members try it out and go get their own. It really does allow for a more comfortable, restful, deep sleep. And I find it really relaxing and soothing being under the blanket. It’s hard to go back to using a regular blanket now. I also love the cover, it’s effective too (one side keeps you warm, one cool).

My wife loves the blanket. She uses it without the cover, over top of her regular sheet. It doesn't shift (i.e. the weight distribution is even, and stable). Perfect weight for her.

I love this cover, it attaches to my blanket with ties, so no getting crumpled in the middle or corner. It’s super soft & comfy too!

I love the blanket and the cover. Perfect weight, soft, and very comfortable. There was a minor defect with the cover, but I got a response right away when I let them know and it’s being rectified with no hassles.

This is my second blanket that i had to buy because my partner started using mine and liked it so much i let him keep it. The second blanket is great. My only concern is that the ties that secure the blanket to the cover are not as good quality as my first one.

This is my daughter with her favourite things: book, water bottle, and MY weighted blanket! I ordered one for my son for Christmas and love it. He lives a 7-hour flight away though, so borrowing it to get cozy for a movie (or a book) is not an option - I couldn't resist; just had to get one for us, too!

I was having trouble sleeping. So I tried the blanket as a last resort and it's pretty amazing. There have been several nights that I slept 6 hours uninterrupted. So I'm totally sold on the weighted blanket.

I was some what worried about my order when i didn't hear anything for several days. My first order arrived but I am still waiting for a second blanket for which I have paid! The blanket has helped with some of my muscle problems, especially restless leg syndrome! Gray isn't my favourite colour but seems to be the trend. I'm hoping that it wont be too warm in the summer!

From the time I ordered to when it came to my house was just over a week. It’s exactly as described. I got the two covers for it so if one’s being washed I’ve got the other to use. The covers are a must to keep the weighted blanket clean as it’s not easy to wash 20lbs! I actually like that it’s grey as it matches everything. I’ve never had a weighted blanket before and I can tell you I like the way it envelopes my body, its relaxing and comfortable. I tend to toss and turn at night, but I believe I’m staying on one side longer. It’s a good purchase if you’re looking for something to settle you at night.
